Unicorn Golf Course is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Stoneham, Massachusetts.
Unicorn first opened for play in 1928 as a premier 18-hole private golf course. The course was designed by Wayne E. Stiles and John Van Kleek. In 1972 the course was redesigned into a classic nine hole championship course.
The course traverses a wonderful hilltop piece of land, with some holes playing out in the open and others surrounded by old oak trees lining its beautiful bent grass fairways. The greens are pure bent with the perfect speed for golfers. Water does not come into play. The pace of play is ideal and the course is priced below the value offered.
From the tips, the course plays a Par 35, 3224 yards.

The condition of the course is wonderful and there's a friendly atmosphere. The best thing is that it's close to my home in Medford. It's a challenging course and nice and wide fairways, especially if you're trying to work on a slice like mine.

This facility attracts a lot of beginner golfers because of its location. Therefore you can find the pace of play, sometimes, exasperating. However, it is a nice layout and challenging nine holes of golf. Well worth playing it.

Things have changed drastically - new irrigation system installed 3 years ago, bunkers replaced, trees dropped, new management company, course conditions incredible for the price. Has 4 par 4's over 400 yards, it is simply a great golf course for a 9 hole championship course.
